John Isaac — Fire Safety Engineer
JOHN ISAAC · FIRE SAFETY ENGINEER

John Isaac is a Fire Safety Engineer at FireConsultant, an independent fire engineering practice based in Perth, Western Australia. With many years of international experience spanning Australia, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, France, and wider Europe, John has delivered fire engineering solutions across high-rise residential, commercial, education, healthcare, and major infrastructure projects. Certified in Western Australia, Victoria, Queensland & New South Wales, with RPEQ registration in Queensland.

Before establishing FireConsultant, John held engineering roles at globally recognised firms including ARUP and Stantec (formerly Hydrock), and contributed to public-sector work under the French Government, as well as other prominent names in the Australian market. That background has shaped his approach — rigorous, code-literate, and grounded in real building outcomes rather than paperwork alone.

John works directly with architects, builders, building surveyors, developers, consulting engineers, and government agencies to navigate the National Construction Code through both Deemed-to-Satisfy (DtS) compliance and Performance Solutions. His goal is straightforward: deliver fire safety strategies that meet the Code, support the architectural intent, and keep projects moving.

Deliver fire safety strategies that meet the Code, support the architectural intent, and keep projects moving.
