Independent Peer Review
An independent, technically rigorous second opinion on a fire engineering design — before it becomes a construction problem.
06/When you need this
- A building surveyor, certifier or authority has required third-party review
- A client or owner wants assurance before accepting a performance solution
- A design and construct tender includes a fire engineering strategy of uncertain quality
- An insurer, financier or purchaser requires technical due diligence
- Two parties disagree on a fire engineering position and need an independent view

06/What we do
- 01Structured review of the PBDB, Fire Engineering Report, modelling inputs and supporting calculations
- 02Verification that the analysis addresses the nominated NCC Performance Requirements
- 03Interrogation of design fire selection, model assumptions, boundary conditions and acceptance criteria
- 04Assessment of whether the stated conditions and limitations are practical and enforceable
- 05Graded comment register — critical, major, minor and advisory — with close-out tracking through to resolution
- 06Where requested, we act as technical adviser to the client through the review process
06/What you receive

Comment register in Excel, graded and ready for the author's responses
Close-out review and confirmation once comments are addressed
